Top 5 shoe trends for Fall 2019
There's two things I love above anything else, that's shoes and Fall. That moment of the year when you dig up your chunky sweaters, warm coats and go on a shoe hunt for the perfect pair to go with you on the last months of the year. If fashion brands taught us something this 2019, is that color and prints will definitely not shy away and wait until Spring to surface again. Check out the top 5 shoe trends for Fall 2019.
Animal print
Animal print seems to be crawling its way into every season, and Fall 2019 is no exception. We'll see a LOT of cheetah spots on loafers, mary janes but boots and booties have had a strong presence in the runway lately. You only need to look at Prada's printed calf hair mules or Vince Camuto's comfy booties to match with a pair of leggings.
Metallic boots and booties
If boot season is getting started, why not kick it off with something fresher than plain black boots? Metallic textures are a strong presence this Fall with brands like Michael Kors, Zimmerman, and even Paco Rabanne is getting in on the action. But far from boots and booties, it seems like every major fashion brand has introduced at least one metallic pair of shoes to be the focal point of Fall outfits.
Platforms
Hi 70's! One of the decades that has had the strongest present in 2019 has been the 70's. With wide leg pants and furry colorful coats, it was only natural to see platforms make a grand comeback. Walk in style with platform sandals and closed shoes from like the Tom Ford peep toe platform in all of its colors or the Stella McCartney chunky ankle boots with an exaggerated platform that screams "Disco!"
Floral boots
Enough of thinking flowers only belong in Springtime, this Fall floral boots have made clear you can rock tiny daisies all year long. Don't be afraid to show some color in the coldest months of the year and pair them with a mini skirt or your favorite pair of jeans. To get the perfect pair of floral boots look for brands like Zimmerman and Dries Van Noten, don't be afraid to rock flowers when the leaves are falling.
All things purple
What says "regal" better than purple? This shade is not only full of life but it's also a main trend for Fall 2019. Purple was found all over the runways this season in all sorts of shoes, like Hungarian fashion brand Nanushka with its knee high sock-like boots for a fancy night out, or a comfy yet edgy pair of furry booties like the ones Area launched.
